CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA FIGURE SKATING CLUB MISSION STATEMENT
Central Pennsylvania Figure Skating Club is a non-profit organization established in 1995, and is a member club of United States Figure Skating- national governing body of the sport of figure skating. The mission of CPFSC is to encourage the participation, practice, instruction and involvement of its members in all disciplines of skating recognized and endorsed by USFS. CPFSC provides opportunities for its members to test and advance their skills and skating level, perform exhibitions, and participate in seminars to improve their knowledge and understanding of the sport both on and off the ice. CPFSC also organizes, sponsors, and facilitates competitions for the purpose of promoting figure skating in the Central Pennsylvania area while stimulating interest and awareness of the sport. Lastly, CPFSC strives to host events that support the local community and its charitable organizations.
