KATELYN HILGERS VRANKA

Katelyn is a lifelong skater with 26 years on the ice. A USFS and PSA member, she has earned Gold Medals in both Skating Skills and Ice Dance (including seven International Dances) and holds an Intermediate level in Freestyle.

She specializes in Synchronized Skating and Power Skating, serving as the Head Coach of Team Reflections Synchronized Skating Teams across all levels in both Lancaster and Hershey, PA.

Katelyn is also a Certified Skate & Sculpt Instructor, teaching a unique figure skating fitness program designed by Olympian Ashley Wagner for adult skaters. In 2022, she was appointed as a Sectional Technical Specialist in Synchronized Skating.

Competitive Highlights

  • Member of Team USA, representing Miami University’s Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Team (2010–2014).
  • Competed in two ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships: 8th place in Boston (2013) and 10th place in Helsinki (2011).
  • Represented Team USA internationally (2011 Spring Cup (Milan, Italy) – Bronze Medalist, 2012 French Cup (Rouen, France) – 5th Place, 2013 Leon Lurje Trophy (Gothenburg, Sweden) – 4th Place, 2014 Mozart Cup (Salzburg, Austria) – 4th Place)

Outside of skating, Katelyn holds a B.A. in Finance from Miami University and works professionally at The Hershey Company.
